Topic: When Nascar comes to town

Next week, Nascar is coming here to Joliet. As I have to work Friday-Sunday, A bunch of us decided we're going to the time trials on Thursday. I've never been, but it's only 3 miles from my house. Hope there's some crashes...lol Anyone else going? It's just 15 bucks to get in(I think), and we're going to be tailgating out in the lot.

I used to live in Martinsville and we rented a house right there on Speedway Rd. It was awesome to be that close, but at the same time it was kind of hard having your backyard turned into a parking lot for all the campers, not to mention all the partying going on in the evenings. Let's just say it got very wild!

I live VERY VERY close to the Pocono Raceway... and Nascar is a BIG deal here! Hope you have a great time..

Well, maybe I'll be the smart one out ofthe bunch that are going, and put in for a vacation day on Friday, just in case...

I just went when it was here in Arizona. Wow tailgating oh boy all day one big party. I was lucky my nephew got me Box seating and VIP parking going again when they come back in Nov. It was one big

Everyyear to Daytona 500 and 400...Sometime to homestead. Have a ball, get lots of free stuff and watch a great race!!!!

They've closed a lot of tracks here in NC I use to go to all of them around here, wilkesboro, the rock,Charlotte. and VA martinsville SC darlington and Tenn Bristol. Never made it to the big one in daytona yet
