I have 2 daughter still at home one is 11 the other is 23..Heres the problem I haven't dated in a long time now that i am my 23 yr old is freckin out...treating me like shes the mother and I am the daughter. We fight all the time...HELP |

Put some apt. rental ads on her dresser. lol.
 23 at home, it's 'bout time she had a life of her own to worry about. Show her the way mom you can do it, cut the cord, you and her will be much happier for it.

I wish i had good advice but I had 9 older sisters and all I can say
stand your ground. Dont let her run over u know matter how old she is. You should always respeect your parents at any age. |

Both of you need to sit down where you can not be interrupted and discuss this as two adults. Tell her you recognize the concerns she has but you are aware of the problems in dating are are prepared to overcome them. Take her through the process of how you will date from the talking to a meeting and then a date. She is net saavy and aware of the weirdos out there she likely thinks you are a unaware. Talk and listen to one another. Good luck!

I would just say, "I'm a grown woman and can make my own choices thank you very much!" If you do not like it, then you can find an apartment. You should be focusing on your life and live it. And let me live mine.
