Because I have a hard time trusting both, no issues with my friends I've had for years, but have been burned too much in the recent time to trust anyone.

I dont trust any one I dont know,and even friends it takes a while to earn my trust.we could be the greatest of friends and my trust may not fully be there,but relationships is where my trust is the hardest to get.and the easiest to lose.

but I have been burned by both and although u may be a little older then me,and I may of not had a long relationship like u,I still know how it feels.

The length of the relationship doesn't really matter when it comes down to the maintaining/ earning of trust, if you get burned you get burned and each time it happens it just makes it hard to want to even try to do it all over again.

why do u think I am single and cant make a relationship work??

I dont trust relationships,I dont trust any one getting close to me.

Well because either you realize your issues and have decided to forgo the possibility of someone not hurting you again for the chance of having a healthy and happy relationship


Or you are giving yourself time to actually heal from past wounds before taking too much excess fresh wounds into a new relationship

Or you are actually happier being single

no I havent gave my self any time to heal,I dont want to heal,this is one reason I cant make a relationship work.

and yes I know what issues I have,but no I have not let it go or the possibilities of being hurt again,I have tried to many times over and over again being hurt,so wounds are there and not going away.

I am not happier being single,I am happier not being hurt,and not being in a relationship keeps me from being hurt,there for I dont have to worry about it,but in the proccess am hurting my self any ways.by doing what I do.but I would rather stay single then let someone else walk over me again.

We all have wounds, scars and issues, and they do heal with time if you let them. Choices made in the past that we made, or others made play a very big part of who each of us are as a person, and it's up to you a person on how you choose to deal with it.


If you don't want to than it's your choice, I'm not trying to argue or attack you on this hon. I don't know your stories, or your life I'm not hear to judge, lay blame or point fingers just so you know.

yes u are right,and I have chosen how to deal with it,most think I am wrong for it,but its what I chose,I cant help what has happened and has happened,so there for.it aint a easy fix.we have all had things happen to us,some terrible,some just plain horrible,others not so.but if u have had something bad happen to u.

then u can understand a little of what some go through and why they act like they do,and feel the way they do.




you are right we all ahve are own choices in what we choose to do.

I know better than to think I know the answers to everything or to tell people how to live their lives, I wouldn't want anyone to do it to me, I don't like it when people judge me without knowing me and would never inflict that on another person.

But, I do ask questions so I can try to understand

I know a lot more then people think,but I choose to keep my mouth shut,and let people assume I know nothing,but I still dont know all the answers,but have learned a lot from truly listening to people,friends,family,and from learning lessons the hard way,like I say if u truly listen u will learn a lot.
