would you keep them or would you want to forget them? If someone could make you totally forget painful memories, would you go for it? 99% of me would give anything to erase the painful memories I have, but then there's that 1% that wonders if that happened, would I still be same person I am today? |

no i like all my memories,the good ,the bad and the ugly.I work on an Altzheimers unit and know how much memory makes us who we are.

No I would not forget them. They have made me who I am today. Can't pretend I don't have a past, but it is in perspective and moving forward is where I am now. I would not however, forget it. The lessons learned and strengths that came are invaluable.

Without my painful learning experiences I would be a complete idiot when it comes to navigating life so hell no, I am keeping them. Besides they are my brownie badges of life experiences, gotta keep the trophies, ya know? lol
