Yep...He had a small one at first and then many little ones and then one day.... my grampy had a bigger one and died... sighs... really...

Ive known a few..some didnt make it but some are still alive. in fact I have a good friend whose wife is still recovering after 15 months of therapy.

My best friend had a stroke. She's still living and mostly normal with some mental confusion at times. She was hit by a drunk driver and her injuries caused the strokes. She had to learn to think, talk, walk and many other activities of daily living all over again. We are 55. She'll live a long time, imho.
