So... did anyone ever hear the song by Shabba Ranks, I'm in love with a man nearly twice my age? Do you think that's alright?.. To fall in love with someone that much older than you?

I don't think it's wrong to fall in love with someone with a huge age difference, there will just be different issues that you'll have to deal with.

I was much (MUCH)older than him...and didn´t work. I think it would be GREAT if there were some man much older than me interested in what I want...

Yeah but not everythings about sex. What if theres a far greater attraction? For instance... I can see myself with someone older rather than someone my own age... only because that's where my interest is.. music, maturity, stability... and more than just that...

If both people love each other then age shouldn't matter, just as long as they are both legal!

The problem is being entranced with someone where you think love will overcome all problems. It doesnt! My ex and I will always love each other but came to realize we could never live with each other. Too many differences. But at least we get along for the kids sake.....

You can think of other stereotypes western society has had which have been knocked down. This is another one. Other than biological changes that happen due to time, age is meaningless in adults. Japanese society commonly had older women teach the younger nobles about sex and culture in the form of geisha's. Older men have commonly married younger women in many cultures. Enjoy life with the person you choose and realize there is a very real possibility they will die before you do.
