Michael Gagnon goes to jail for a crash that killed five people

The man found responsible for killing five people in the I-280 wrong-way crash around Christmas found out just how long he will be behind bars.

Michael Gagnon pleaded no contest to causing that accident in December. Investigators found he had been drinking at an Oregon bar, then got onto I-280 going in the wrong direction.

Gagnon's truck eventually slammed head-on into a mini-van carrying a family from Maryland. A mother and four children Police found Gagnon's blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. In May, the judge convicted him of aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault. Today, he was sentenced to 43 years behind bars
