I just got a flat tire on one of my loaders. You can't change just one tire because they all wear down equal and if you change one you have to change all 4. Price for a set of tires for a Caterpillar 988F loader? As just quoted to me over the phone (and yes I went on and ordered) $31,000 How's that for a way to end the week!

 That is insane. Sorry your weekend started off so bad. But at least you will have the weekend to relax and start fresh Monday

Be glad about that!! oh man if it was out of my pocket people would be saying "Hey did you see that loader with 3 tires" lol No I'm just responsable for the budget so it hurts but the good news is That I have money budgeted for this sort of thing. Still hurts like hell though. |

The reverse is true here already. One of my customers refused the first free unit of my latest invention and overpaid retail by $200.00. Paypal just notified me of an echeck for $1000.00
