i've been seeing more "smart" cars on the roads lately. tiny little things! yet they cost as much as a cobalt or focus, get narginally better gas mileage, and have very little space. it seems they would be best in n.y.c., l.a., and other crowded places. would you drive one? i'm not sure i would.
here's a link for those who've never heard or seen them before...

You should hold off and look up the new plans Toyota is laying out for a cleaner world. Right now there are current plans for a vehicle that will have that new "Ion" or whatever it is called technology that is used in the latest laptops and such. Where you can plug your car into an outlet and recharge it, so it would be more of an electrical car if anything.

Plus there are future plans for a vehicle that will combine oxygen and something else to create water or some type of fluid to run on.

Also keep in mind that for ever time the gas prices increase, so does the price of a Prius. In case any of you were curious into buying on this vehicle that is excellent on gas (Though you pay more for it because it will save you more on gas).

I am not fond of them either. Even the Hybrid cars will be hard to sell to me until they have been around for 5 years or so. Someone I know fixes crash damaged cars at a body shop, and he told me that a storage battery for a hybrid they fixed was over 2,500.00. Yes folks, I did get the zeroes right!

I just bought a little car made by Scion which is a Toyota. It is called a XB it is shaped like a box, basically. It gets a combined 30 MPG city/highway so far. Good enough for me. This one is very roomy inside because of very good design.

I wouldn't have a problem driving one. I'm under 5ft so it would be no big deal. As far as the gas mileage goes, it's a heck of a lot better then the 18 mpg car I'm driving now!!!

I would not drive one of those tiny things.

Right now I am driving a newer Chevy Impala and it drives me crazy because there is no room in it. Compared to the much older Impalas. I'm short-
and still hit my head and bump my legs in this car. It has no room for much of anything in the trunk- even if the seats do fold down. noway
I need space in a vehical.

E85 Ethanol (105 octane) + Dodge, both made in America by Americans. Money goes to your neighbors and the farmers. No need to support the Japanese.
