Does anyone know anything about proxy configurations?? I installed Firefox but it wont let me use it because Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.
Can anyone help?? |

In Firefox, Goto Tools -> Options -> Advanced Button -> Network Tab and choose Direct connection to the internet
Choose the Settings on the Network Tab in the connection box and then Direct connection to the internet |

I see this every day, what's easy to me (tech), challeges others. On the other hand I only recently learned how to change an 02 sensor from a mechanic bud who can do it in his sleep. It takes all kinds of skills to make a world and everyones got a gift. |

Firefox is awesome! I haven't tried 3.0, but the 2.0 series kicks ass. Many times I have desired some specific functionality and found it in an add-on.
MS let IE keep on sucking for YEARS before pressure from other browsers, esp. firefox, drove them to finally improve it. |
