She's worked so hard every day of her life

Been a good mother, been a good wife

There are still so many things that are left unsaid

Through the lips of the family that she has clothed and fed

We never say we love her as much as we should

But hope she sees for her we have done the best we could

We have done our share of sinning but thank god for her each day

Everyone calls her Shorty, but she won't admit its Lottie Mae

To some she is Momma, But she is also a grandmother

But no matter whose life she touches, This angel is like no other

She's the one we turn to when we need to be held

The one who cam to see us if we were in jail

Shes the one who loves to pinch us with her toes

Who, no matter how we try to hide it always knows

Our secrets that we hold so deep inside

no need to be shameful, no need to hide

she loves us equally, and yet not the same

the way we fell for her, that will never change

we are lucky in a way many are not

to meet this woman who has won every battle she has fought

for the lives of her children and for herself

the moments never forgotten, frozen on a shelf

they reming us all of times in which we won't forget

And moments spent together that we'll never regret

Now when we pray at night,we know what to pray about

This woman that we love, we can't live without

But even when she leaves, she'll never really be gone

Becuase theres a place in our hearts that she'll always call home

When our hearts start to break and tears start to fall

We'll easily remember her greatest gift of all

The love and happiness that we shared

I wrote this for my memaw(grandmother) becuase she means alot to our family. She raised seven kids on her own, and has been our strength, tell me how ya'll like it. BE HONOST
