Once we get past religion what is left? many have there own belief's on here but do any have faith and trust in those belief's? and if so why? what makes us think that our answer's for what we believe are correct? Or is "correctness" even the point? Would anybody here suffer martyrdom for what they hold as ""other truth's""? are your belief's or thought's so wrapped up in your belief's that you would go this far?

just wonderingbigsmile

You always have to have faith and trust in your beliefs thats why people believe in what they believe. To have faith that things will get better.Faith is believing in something that many can not see but know that what they believe is there all the time.

Everyone has different answers for what they think is correct.Doesn't matter what we all believe just that we believe in something.

I would say that correctness is never truly the point of religion. That all religions are only an aspect of some 'big picture'. However, how would it be possible to move a person's mind to your religion without taking the stance of 100% righteous correctness?

I personally believe in what I call God. But how can I take the stance of correctness when all religions (except scientology  ) have an equal amount of evidence supporting them.

Would I become a martyr for my beliefs? At this point in my life, no, but i would never deny them.

yes but how far would you go to defend your faith or belief in other than status quo religion - i'm talking of your own personal belief's you say you have faith in, not religious belief's in a personal god of some type, do your belief's go beyond this or are they of that type? the question here is are your non religious belief's one which you would defend to the death because of your faith in them/it - or are they more just a conception of of choice that you would or could walk away from in an instant without defense?

I'm a Catholic and believe in God I would defend what I believe in and I wouldn't walk away from what I believe in cause I know if I didn't have Jesus in my life I wouldn't be able to do anything. It's just what I believe
