Almost everyone I have met from online dating looks better in person then they do on-line. I usually get told that I look much better in person. Not everyone is photogenic and most people don't know how to take a good picture.
When I meet someone famous, the opposite is usually true. They are better looking in the movies or in the magazines than in real life. Airbrushing and lighting effects in professional photography can make anyone look good. |

Actually, Mikecom21hotmaiL didn't look "exactly" like his pics (two or three were about 4 years old, another was taken the summer before, and one was current), although he was still very attractive to me. There was chemistry on many levels besides the physical and sexual. I know he was very attracted to me *not tellin' why*
 even though my pics were a few years old, as well, and I was a bit thinner. He DID, however, see the most recent pics of me (taken the same month I met him) on another site I sent him to. Those pics were NOT appropriate for jsh, though.  
To my credit, he DID say that I looked like my jsh pics, if slightly heavier. Let's just say, he liked what he saw. As for me, the chemistry for him physically grew even more over time, yet slowly, even though his general features, build, and height is what I am usually attracted to. I think this is the case for most women, in general, though. So, I'm sure, like me, he would say that although not "exactly" what we envisioned, we did surpass our expectations and were quite satisfied with the outcome - not to mention turned-on as all Hell.
