((((Suz)))) It was crappy and rainy here all weekend. Rained during the fireworks display Other than that it was nice. Kinda quiet though. How about yours?

It was good Mitch, we went down to Chattanooga, had a lot of fun and I am sure glad I took today off, need to catch up on some sleep

It wasn't too bad Suz...spent the afternoon with the oldest daughter from Australia on the 4th. Then spent the rest of the day continuing the chore of sorting and making piles and packing. 3 weeks to go!!!

This will be the furthest move I will have made in 30+ years since leaving my parents house. (That move was from Ohio to New Orleans...couple years later, N.O. to Washington state.)

With my ex's job, we moved a lot and I think it was worse moving next door or down the street than it was moving cross country. Not sure why that was

I am also putting in for a transfer with that P-T job I have here...but hoping they'll give me more hours down there than they do here...until the school job comes through anyway!

Not yet...but I'm hoping something will turn up this week...their traditional schools start so early down there, (Aug. 12th!).

Yeah, they do in TN, as well, at least where we were. Our schools are after Labor Day.

Schools here usually have started the week before Labor Day...for the first time ever, they are waiting until after Labor Day to start this fall...makes so much more sense to wait...with harvest and the fair happening then.

My son went to a year-round school for a while, I loved that! But not all the schools have it here yet
