In what situations/activities/projects would you HAVE to have a wire clothes hanger?

Like ... opening those pesky bedroom doorknobs that "just lock themselves".

I used on to hold a chandalier up closer to the ceiling so people wouldn't hit their heads on it.

I have used them to beef up a hanging basket frame - and have built a few from wire hangers.

Does anyone know what gauge that wire is?

"A Wire Hanger!" That woman in that movie sure went ballistic on her daughter finding a wire hanger in her closet. Sucks! But I'd use the hanger to make a poodle (my mom used to do that all the time to give as gifts).

Ah, thanks. I couldn't remember the title. My mom watched AMC and TCM a lot when I was younger.

Those who dont employ dry cleaners (like myself) find it harder to hang on to these important household tools .. happy

I wonder where they disappear to?

Any ideas?

Could there be a demand in some other dimension that would explain disappearing household items? Like wire hangers ... and single socks ... ???
