Topic: Why we fall in love | |
---|---|
We often ask why do people "fall" in love? xperts believe that the cupid strikes due to the chemicals released in our brain when we are drawn to someone. One of these, phenylethylamine, makes us feel very excited, and everything seems wonderful.
In the next stage of love, a hormone called oxytocin is released. This plays an important role throughout our lives: it is a "cuddle hormone" and acts as a kind of infatuation chemical. Childbirth and the noise of a baby crying also make it flow. It's all chemistry |

why does`nt it last forever

the release of oxytocin is always my goal........

why does`nt it last forever I think in some cases it still does. But, perhaps it doesn't usually because people get lax in their mating rituals...they don't take as good of care of their appearance...they become less attentive to the others needs...the things that all attract you in the first place and start those chemicals to flowing, you stop doing...thus, the chemicals stop...perhaps? |

Yeah, oxytocin is also released during an orgasm, which is also responsible for the bonding.

Yeah, oxytocin is also released during an orgasm, which is also responsible for the bonding. So lots of sex is the key to a lasting love...I agree |

I would agree, can get complacent I think, or at times the people involved may not be so willing to try and work out the rough patches that may come up. |

It seems easier to them to find another than try to patch up what they got. Sometimes , I guess things can get to the point that it is unpatchable. But, have you ever noticed that men and women always present their best sides at the beginning of a relationship...(USE their BAIT) then, all seems to die out quickly once they marry or move in. The honeymoon phase is over. I want a perpetual honeymoon! |
