I have always heard that when someone is drunk and starts rambling off at the mouth, so to speak, that is usually truth coming out of it. I personally dont know, seeing that I dont/ cant drink nor am I around anyone that does.

drunken words speak a sober mind. reality can be a b@%ch sometimes alcohol can soften the blow. . . or make it worse.

Sober, I have seen alcohol exaggerate a person's anger and turn what they are trying to tell me into complete rage way too many times. I am not sure I would trust what someone tells me while they are under the influence, would want to hear it from them while they are sober.
