I've always used vinegar on a towel. works for me but then you smell a little life fish and chips..

yep, just like you would do with a cold compress... wet a towel really good with vintager and put it were ever the burn is. Then put lotion on it of course. Don't ask me WHY it works, but i guess it has something to do with acid..
