laugh I do. In the morning, I get up and run 5miles. But yet I get up at 5am to do it..ahaha so really no one is on to talk to at that time so it's all cool with me. I do my other work out before bed.

I think that would be cool. Health includes mind, body, spirit. Each impacts on the other.

I know when I am feeling blue or anxious, it impacts on the way I eat, as well as how much exercise I get. When I am overweight or eat too much sugar or carbs, it affects my mood and self esteem. That, in turn reduces my motivation to get moving, because I feel I kind of "give up". When I feel hurt in spirit, or have experienced too much toxic or negative energy from an individual, it slows down my ability to care for myself until I clear the negativity and waste out of my life and system - whether that is physically or emotionally.

What has helped in the past? Getting in touch with my anger and finally confronting those that have harmed me in some way or another. However, there comes a point where it is best just to let go, to release the anger and negativity. To avoid or ignore what is foul and repugnant. That kind of thinking and feeling poisons mind, body, and soul. I choose not to live my life that way.

I'm all for topics of this sort. Lord knows I can use the encouragement and group support. Who couldn't.

I have no trouble admitting it. I tell everyone....friends, family, coworkers, acquaintances. Struggling with personal fitness is something most women can relate to. I'll take all the help, encouragement, and advice I can get from people who have been there and are doing it now, thankyouverymuch.

Thank goodness I have supportive friends and a caring, tolerant partner who loves me and accepts me for who I am on the inside, while being understanding and very encouraging of my choice and need to get fitter for my own emotional, physical, and spiritual benefit. I feel terribly overweight, but he and many men I come across say that I'm still very attractive. Sometimes I would rather not hear that, because it is not so good for the motivation.

I've worked hard and am about half-way to my fitness goal. However, I know the next part is going to be the hardest. First and foremost, I'm doing it for myself. If it pleases my partner and others in the process - well, that's just icing on the cake. Pun intended. :wink:
