The worst dating site experience I ever had, as far as mean people go, was on a Christian dating site. I always have said some of the least charitable people occupy the front rows of the pews

It's not just the women who are mean on Plenty of Fish. There are plenty of male a$$holes on there too. That is the funkiest site I have ever checked out. I think that POF population is definitely at the bottom of the gene pool.  I agree. There are junky people from both sides. From what I have read elsewhere and my own experience, the forums are dominated by women who are there not to get dates but to control others in cliques. The way the self-moderation set up it breeds such things. The regular men are too spineless to speak up about anything and choose the route of kissing the heiney. This is what I was told and personally observed. There isn't that many who control things. It doesn't need to be. You're right, and it tends to happen across the board, no matter what the dating site with forums it is. It probably is a sociological phenomenon more than anything else. |

I always have said some of the least charitable people occupy the front rows of the pews Quite likely true, but it does sadden me the way so many people vehemently bash all Christians and Christianity these days. I will be the first to admit that there have been many wrongs done by and in the name of both. However, sweeping generalizations about any group usually irks me; and I will be the first to say I am not perfect. |
