How do you determine who's on your friends list? I tend to think of it
as a place that I can add my *friends* so that I'll have easy access to contact them or to see if they're on line or to view new photos they might have, etc. I don't add people to my friends list until or unless they have become my "friend." I don't just add someone whom I've never (or rarely) spoken to. What about you? |

I feel that if someone, anyone, wants to be my friend, it's alright.
One of the purposes of the list is to make new friends. I don't know you, but you can request to be my friend, and I will accept you. That's me! However, you can either accept or reject request to be added to your friends list. It really is all up to you, however you choose to determine who will be on your list-- it's your perogative! So, wanna be my friend? |

Yes, I realize all of that. But I don't consider them "friends" until
they're my "friend." I have to have talked with someone via email or IM first and actually have become a friend and have gotten acquainted with them first - and vice versa - before I'll add them to my "friends list." To me, it isn't a "potential friends list," it's an "established friends list." To each his own, though. |
