Topic: emotional Transition | |
---|---|
I have often spoken about emotions in this colomns when in transition from one situation to another boyhood to manhood, weddings, funerals, graduations that sort of thing.
Well today it was the End of the year ceremony for my twin boys finishing their first grade. And there was a stage and kids were there doing their songs and poems. The whole thing was so moving (purely because my kids were in it I suppose). I was happy but tears were trickling down yet I was not upset at all. I wondered how quickly this year passed, while photographing the moments as much as I could I could not help just ignoring the song and dance but seeing how much had they grown in one year and how fortunate I was to be able to witness their progress. |

i've been crying for 21 yrs at every single event my kids are in...it's so emotional...all their hard work...whether academic or sports or music...sometimes i cry when my kids aren't even in the damn thing i'm at...kids are the best...they are wise in a simple way that usually makes sense
