i did hard work definitely pays off, ive worked my ass off to become better than my mom, and have surpassed her in so many ways at this point in my life, and im still working hard, i think u need to commit to it thru out life, but as you move up, you can put some of the load on the people below you, no disrespect to them.

depends upon what your internal idea of rewards are...

My pay off is that I do the best job I can do each and every day. I don't hate what I do, because of how I frame it. My boss expects miracles and gets mad and bytches sometimes, so what? It's not personal, it is a job. She gets over it and it rarely, if ever, bothers me. She is a brilliant woman who has taught me so much I cannot even start to list.

I personally find my job rewarding. I get to help people, society, and what I do is valued and needed. Each person's profession contributes to society in some way.

That is the payoff I need. And part of that is a lifetime committment.

Try reframing what you do and look at it differently. Perspective and attitude are really 90% of any job.

well i guess it depends on who you work for. i worked in heating and cooling and loved every minute of it. well except crawling under houses that look like somthing from the blair witch project lol.drinker work hard for what u want and it pays off but if you work hard for someone else it pays off for them.drinker happy
