I was once engaged to a millionaire... I hated the fact that he had that kind of money (as well as his entire family) because it made them all feel superior. I ended the relationship because I knew I would not be happy. Money cannot and will not buy you love or happiness...  No truer words have been spoken, gf!! Smart woman ... Oh it was hard to let him go because I loved him dearly.. but I just knew I had to let him go...

Peoples financial situations change...I would expect that my love would stand steady through any hardship. I will never say "for better or for worse" unless I plan to stand by that.
Then again, I would not date a 40 year old man who lives in his mothers basement and drinks beer all day...he could be a millionaire down there, but I would not believe he was ready for a relationship or cared much about life. It's the behavior that would bother me more than anything. |
