"I Love You" to someone today, and if the time allows get in touch with someone you haven't spoken to in a long time.......... You never know. I had an awful shock on Monday (15/06/08) I was out shopping and saw the uncle of a friend of mine, I have known her when she was 5 years old, and as you do, you ask about other members of that person's family. Well, I asked how Sam was only to be told that she had died in January, aged 26 ( of cervical cancer) Disbelief is a tame word for my reaction ! I saw her in December of last year just before she was due to board a cruise ship bound for the Caribbean ( as their resident beauty therapist) apparently not long into the trip she had to be flown back to the UK, she then went to the doctor's and was diagnosed, she lasted 5 weeks from diagnosis to her passing.I am happy that I had lunch with her the last time we met and before we parted, I hugged her and told her I loved her. So,go on tell someone you love them...........

My mommy died suddenly when I was 18. She had a headache. Laid down to take a nap. She never woke up

I thank God that my last time to see her was wonderful. But my 3 sisters were all in a tiff with her over something.

That is the hardest thing a young girl could go through, I am sorry for your loss, and I know that as time moves on it gets easier. I am happy that you have good memories of the last time you saw your momma alive.I am happy to say we still have our "Head Honcho" with us, she will be 77 in December, dad is no longer with us..............I do miss him.

I'm calming down now,I was so tearful all of Monday, Tuesday and yesterday. It hurts so much, more so that I was not aware of her passing and did not even get the chance to attend her funeral.

I know that is so difficult. And the shock of it is hard to absorb. I will remember you when I pray.
