I recently had a friend contact me saying her testomonial was missing on my profile at the JSH website. Sure enough it was not to be found. In addition to this I found a former friends testominal removed.

What happens when a friend leaves or deacitvates. Does their testominal disappear? Has anyone else lost multiple testomonials like myself?

I know there is a problem with the Mingle2 site but this happened on JSH. I contacted my former friend asking about this and am awaiting their response. I asked if she had someone here at the site remove it.

If requested, can a moderator or someone else remove testominals? My guess is yes in case it is too racy. If this was done, the person doing it deleted multiple testominals not just my former friend's. That makes me fairly upset. I would like to know what happened here. I am putting it down as a bug for now.

Its weird when that happens. I dont know what it is.

She is trying to post it again and the system is throwing up an erro message. i was able to write one for her though just now.

Update: She was able to post another testomonial but not on the Mingle site. So if you have more than one page of testomonials thats it. I hope this the error message is fixed before the sites change.

Still what happened to the (at least) 2 missing testomonials?

i have had friends deactivate their account and somehow i lost my testimonial they made too... yet i have deactivated myself and i see the testimonials on others accounts that i made before i deactivated..... im thinking that perhaps if they erase their friends before they deactivate first is when the testimonials dissapear..

this "thought" of mine. is because of the fact that you cant make a testimonal for someone unless you are a friend... im not sure though but i never took my friends off before i deactivated either....

If a friend leaves or deactivates, their testimonials do disappear. I will double-check that but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Can you explain in a little more detail about the bug you saw on mingle2 for leaving testimonials? We'll look into that and make sure it's working properly.

yes like if i wrote one for you destiny and i deactivate.... it wont be on there while my account is deactivated... but if i come back it will then be there again... but if i deleted you as a freind before i deactivated .. like if before i left and deleted all my friends before i did.... then i dont think the testimonial would be there is what i was trying to say ... i still may not make sense lol

As for the Mingle2 bug, we think that we know what is going on. As it now stands, only ten testimonials can be shows in any one profile (this is the bug). We are going to fix this in the near future, as one would expect.
