the sun rises in the morning ...is it just another day?
will something else go wrong? will I make it all the way?
sometimes the darkness closes in...although the sun does shine
I feel that love is just another lie, someone pasted in thier eyes
I try to give the gift of hope, to share what I have learned
but when for others I make it better...in the end it's I thats burned
feelings given can't be taken back, once shared they're yours to keep
but what is used to fill the holes, that giving feelings always leaves
when you've given till your empty, and all thats left is hole
your faith does die and with it soon also goes the soul
what point the body living, when there's nothing left to share?
and the darkness overtakes you, makes life too difficult to bear
when the sun and moon have gone away and no stars light your sky
then what is left of life to live, best to just lay down and die

& don't take things so seriously
give yourself the gift of hope
and instead of giving to others till your empty
give to you until your full
it can be frustrating enjoying life without someone to share it with or to create memories with.
creating a ridged list of standards with no room for flexability is a sure recipe for disappiontment/disaster. we gotta be willing to except the fact that our mister/miss right is not going to be perfect.

Life is serious and so is love. People not taking it so is probably the major reason people end up with broken hearts. While both love and life should be filled with laughter and playtime, neither is a game. And I expect perfection from no one as we are all flawed. But I do refuse to settle for less than I want or deserve to do so is a recipe for disaster.
