pretty good, i had to give someone a bad review at work today...i don't like doing that

it's a help desk and they have to enter every call into this system, he wouldn't put most of his calls in and things got lost...not good to tell a lawyer we didn't fix their problem a few days later. so, he's doing better at that, but i had to extend his provisional period. which is the first 3 months of employment to 6 months. the alternative would have been to fire him. down side is he gets no benefits or leave time during this period.

Thats kind of tough or the guy i felt bad because he does have a family and i know benefits are important and he is trying. but...it is what is it. and brooding, it's times like this where i wish i was a little more cold hearted, i wouldn't take it so personally. |

absolutely, still doesn't make it easy. i had 3 people with provisionals up today, 2 were doing amazing, i like to deliver good news
