Stockcar, sorry for what happened.
But if that is his character, he would have left anyway, age was just the excuse he used. I have met several fantastic ladies older than myself, that could run rings around me. Good for this lady, still riding & jumping. It is those that "retire" setting down, that die early. Mankind was meant to be doing/working/achieving goals. When that ceases, you just drove the first nail in your own coffin. I will keep busy till the day I drop. |
