Topic: today makes me sad soooo

i think it should be brothers day i got plenty of them plus if it was brothers day the fact that my real dad is a deadbeat drunk who decided yet again he doesnt want me because im not a boy wouldnt bother me at all

I'll be your surrogate father today! Just remember: alcoholism is a sickness... all you can do is pray for him and ignore bad things he might say..... maybe one day he'll recover and become a new person.... that happened to me 28 years ago...

Alcoholism is a sickness, I lost my father to it when I was only 8 years old, he died at the age of 43.. my age now. It's very sad to think about it..so I don't. I put my thought's into the wonderful person that raised me and taught me the value of life: My Mother. It wasn't always easy being a single parent but she did the very best she could. And with her direction.. it has taught me to be the very best single parent I can be. Thank you mom One more thought... I personally do not believe in.. if a family member were an alcoholic then you have greater chances of becoming one yourself.. NO! YOU choose the life you want to lead.

YOU choose the life you want to lead. i know and im 21 its not like i need him but i do wish he wanted me but yall r right its his loss

Find your love and embrace that..Know YOU can NEVER be his bad and through his life though bad,,did serve you a positive for your future and actions that you will never do or be to your children.. GOD'S lessions are many times over-looked as we only FEEL our own pains, not what the bad actions he done and showed....has also taught us....
