I hate helmets too.. but have to wear one or tie the hair up tight or would get shaved bald b/c of the tangles.. 
I had to but hot oil in it and leave it over night...

it's only been 3 months..and you've only posted 23 times...it's a little early to be giving up and saying it doesn't work..it takes time...if anything you should just stay for friends and see what happens from there JMO 
yep gotta agree with Faithful.... or list yourself as Looking for Friends....when i did that it took all the pressure off & now i'm meeting more people.... keep posting too, other than me, there are some really nice people here....
