The brightness of
a new day enters
my room. It gives
life, like sacred
womb.

The light begins a
whole new day, with
something new to
offer, in some new
way.

I move quietly
amidst this day
listening for what
it has to say.

Should I meditate
or go out to play?
Perhaps I'll do both
on this brand new
day.

Thank you light for
all you give, that
you should show me
how to live.

You guide the way
by day or night.
I watch your glow
through window, or
inside my candle
light.
