I'd rather have a lonely heart than a broken heart any day. I know I build walls to prevent my heart from breaking, but on the other hand you can't really control whether or not you're going to fall in love, therefore you really can't control it breaking.

Broken heart hurts..lonely heart aches... Both painful.. I Agree with you! And isn't love at least an asset...what asset does a lonely heart give? No broken heart? But, then you lose the asset again...vicious circle. |

not a cage,, behind a 60 foot high wall thats 10 feet thick, with armed guards walking the walls, a moat around it with pirhannas and gaters in the water,, and pissed off dobermins with toothaches running around the moat

not a cage,, behind a 60 foot high wall thats 10 feet thick, with armed guards walking the walls, a moat around it with pirhannas and gaters in the water,, and pissed off dobermins with toothaches running around the moat I was that way once and a wonderful person came into my life and helped tear that wall down, brick by brick, pebble by pebble and it was well worth the reconstruction. You realize after a time, that it's very lonely behind that wall!! And, thankfully, my wall has never been totally rebuilt...more like a curtain now....

That's so true. Much better to be lonely than have your heart put into a grinder. I'm a gluten for punishment though. LOL

may be lonley, but you dont have to worry bout it being ripped out and trampled on Love can only be had at a price. A broken heart is so very painful,but you can't have love without risking one. No way around that risk. Either live without love or go for it. |
