Yup. Well passed 100+ degrees F. We also just had a three-hour power outage in my neighborhood, too. That meant I had to bust out with my 18V DeWalt cordless drill batteries and my 10mm computer fans for makeshift personal fans. The heat is supposed to keep going for the next couple of days, if not the whole week.

This Turtle Island that we live on is sure a strange one... Your sitting in 100+ weather and we still have the furnices running in the evening...Today I had to bust out the wool socks again when I had packed them away thinking that we just might get some warm weather now that the Solstice is here... Guess I thought wrong.... again...

Yup. The weather is a weird wench. It's almost 8:00PM here in Cali now, and it's STILL friggin' hot. Everything I touch feels abnormally warm, and even the wind feels hot to the touch. That's not good when driving along the freeway at sixty-five MPH.
