Being Honest is not always a good thing as I have found out from opening my heart to one beautiful lady,just to find out that the worst event ever,could be developing for me. I used to say that Honesty is the best policy,but I have doubs about that statement.
I know I have heard,its better to find out now,rather than later,but,my argument is that if someone falls for someone lock,stack,and barrel,whatever is found out later,shouldnt make any difference becuase the one has shown totally honesty towards another and not many people are willing to take that chance.It is easier to hide behind ones soul than it is to become vulnerable to anothers crtisicism and ulimately lose the one you considered to be thee one.
I now sit here confused,wondering if total honesty is indeed the best policy,or just a testing tool to test the prospective partner that may or may not be their significant other in the near future.
It has been a long,hard,road a hoe,but now am naked as a jaybird,wondering if I indeed did the right thing by being honest,or should I have held on to secrets,until later on?
Nope,I dont think so,any opinions?

well it's almost like a damned if you do and a damned if you don't kind of thing.. tell them sooner they may run .. tell them later and they think you were hiding something... so I figure it's best to throw things out sooner rather than later... if they truly like you then they realize the past is just that.. the past.. we all have them.

It is always best to be honest. lies lead to more lies and create insecurities in my opinion.If the person whom you were honest with doesnt like what you told them, then it is there problem not yours.

It is tough to figure out the best timing for such things.
I believe in sooner than later. Yet, some things are better told at a time when you trust the other person - unless it's freaky important. JMO.
