It's just perfect here in Central PA..clear, breezy and warm.


Perfect here in NE Ohio also... I never can remember though, when there is a tornado a disaster of a tornado do you open the windows or batten down the hatches??


They used to say batton down, but now they claim you should let it blow through...or it is more likely to pick it up. flowerforyou

Bad here tooo. Internet keeps going off. I look for the power to go anytime. Crazy weather. Cooling off though...i just took the opportunity to mow my front yard.drinker

It's lightening and thundering here in Southwest Virginia and the sky is almost black. Big storm coming!!

Oh so you should open the windows to let those nasty destructive tornados blow hot air??

That's what they tell us to do in MO and KS. We used to just crack ours...don't want the furniture ruined. :tongue:

opening the windows helps to equalize the pressure from the storm outside and the interior of the house, makes it less likely to be picked up, and from imploding and shattering the window glass into the house
