Topic: A poem before i die | |
---|---|
I will die one day, said the little girl to her father, when the skis are cold and my hair is grey and blue is the new heartfelt color and sunny skies are hazy memories I will die one day, said the teen to her best friend, when I realize how empty it seems and how the grass we lay in is no longer green and the pictures are faded into black and white there’s a needle that sewn my memories tight I will die one day, said the mother to her son, and you will grow big and strong and visit me, but not for to long since u have a home and I am to feeble I will watch u walk away from me but I am happy, u have your own family I will die one day, said the grandfather to his wife, and u will be left in this empty house and everything as quiet as a mouse and with nothing left but your memories and our children to lead our legacies I will die one day, I say to anyone, and I know that I am plain and shy and my dreams are far beyond my reach and I can hardly make a speech but I can love without a limit and the laughs we share I love to win it but when time is up, on my grave, place a dove and I hope u all know, I died in love |
