Dating older guy. Like him a lot. Not ready to settle down, but he is. Is there a thing where you could just not be at the same place in life? We get along and love being together but like the big picture is where we are different. Does the big picture matter more than the everyday?

Yes, it does. The big picture is life, and how you view it. To differ on that is everything, the be all and end all.

JMO.... daily stuff is great, but to me, big picture differences are deal makers and breakers.

I don't really know, he knows where he is. I don't know where I want to be. I am thinking about going back to school. He says he is okay with that, but I am just not sure if I really believe that.

I think the big picture means everything in a relationship. If you're not on the same page, more then likely, the relationship will fail. I've been through it before. Even though we got along very well, we wanted different things and eventually, the relationship failed.

I do trly care for him, so much so I miss him when I am at my house. He is sweet kind caring and for once I feel safe, but what else should there be.

This is a perfect example of the difference between those that say age is just a number and those that say there is a generational difference.

It is where you are in life that matters, and age plays a huge part in that.
