How come when anyone mentions the word "gay" everything tenses up on this site, and people automatically lash out (example: a while back I posted a joke that involved 2 gay men and since it wasn't making fun our community I was pretty much told to leave this site) I mean come on we are all adults

No I wasn't and that's my whole point I have read the same joke a straight version and a gay version and a lot of people thought the straight version was funny but only a few people thought the gay version was funny and when I posted the gay version I got a lot of hate filled responses

It is blind hate and that is not fair it just pisses me off sometimes and coming out is a never ending process that comes with a strong emotional toll that most straight people will never understand |

gay jokes are so yesterday dude! this site has some people who are more like a close knit family. they watch out for each other. some may not like it when you insult their friends,or "family" that way. i saw the joke......it was funny,but when you tell a joke like that,you run the risk of insulting a few people,even though that was not your objective. let it go and chalk it up as a mistake.......now learn from it!

I just want to know why as soon as someone expresses themselves as gay or lesbian or transgrendered or bisexual they get shunned without a reasonable explanation oh and yes I am gay

I lived in Colorado Springs for 5 years and that felt like a Small town at 500,000 people ...lol Thats what you get from living in Los Angeles....
