I live in New Jersey, I'm widowed, and I want to meet a lady close by because I'm not rich, I can't afford and don't want to travel everywhere to meet someone, and it seems that New Jersey is devoid of women.

I know that isn't true, so it must be me. I am me, nothing else. I talk too much, I joke too much and I probably think I am a treasure, but we all know that that is not the truth.

Sure I can be picky, but isn't evryone? Give me some clues on how to go about this without appearing desperate or coming across like a dirty old man.

Be open minded. Stop having preconcieved notion's about a person. Give a woman a chance. It doesn't pay to be picky. Ppl deserve a chance to be known. And, friend's are more valuable then a bf/gf. They have a tendancy to be fleeting. Friend's last longer.
