Yeh, so what’s the deal?! I seem to keep having repeat weekends here. A different night, new bar, many many miles away from my normal bars, and yet the inevitable truth follows me. I must have a neon sign that only ‘taken’ guys can see and a stamp on my forehead that says "i'll go home with you tonight"

bwahah... no i am not going home with taken guys... but i do attract ones that are taken a lot of the time and i also attract the type of men that assume i am an easy lay

Try somewhere else besides a bar. coffee shops...book store... Yeah, there are way too many guys in bars looking for just that one thing. You need to improve your odds and lessen the jerk factor!

I do frequent bookstores and coffee shops ... too study... but me being there for that is not allowing my self to look approachable I guess

I do frequent bookstores and coffee shops ... too study... but me being there for that is not allowing my self to look approachable I guess the reasons why I am at a lot of bars is because I am on a dart tournament as well as a flip cup/beer pong team girl you rock..........if i wasn't taken J/K.......even if i was taken

I kind of have the same prob. Only I live in the biggest little city in the world. So wherever I go I run into someone I know. Except here. Its cool.

You can only control your own behavior. It seems times have not changed since I was "out and about" in the bar scene.
I think you can go and still have fun but keep your expectations reasonable.. afterall, it IS a bar! |

Maybe it's something that can't be easily explained. My ex has had that problem most of her life no matter where she is. It doesn't even have to be a bar. She has had guys try to pick her up in church before. Maybe you have a look that sort of men find appealing. Who knows? All you can do when that happens is accept their advances as a compliment and try to ignore them afterward. Good luck.
