Did anyone watch the Belmont yesterday? The horse that won, Da'Tara was almost ignored. All the news was still about Big Brown, even after he lost. While everyone was focused on the favorite, Da'Tara took care of bussiness, leading the whole way.
Poor BB, he had a quarter crack, was coming down of of the drugs he had been taking, faceing the heat with no electrolytes, crowded against the post & blocked when he tried to accelerate. I am glad he wasn't hurt, but also glad that the underdog had his day.

i think it was the heat. he smoked the derby!
