My Reward Across The River

When life has got me down
There's not but one way to go,
My reward is across the river
Glory bound is where I know.

Living by the word of God
He is the one for me,
My reward is across the river
Is where I want to be.

The streets are paved with gold
Asphalt won't be seen,
My reward is across the river
Where I will be redeemed.

There's a beautiful river
Jordan is what I've heard,
My reward is across the river
Cause I followed the written word.
