I know what you mean...its been crazy weather here, so my daughter gets runny nose from it and it causes her to cough at night, when she lays flat. She has had it since she was tiny.

If it helps any, put an extra pillow under her mattress at the head of the bed, the angle helps with the sinus drainage and helps with the lungs not being congested or filling with the fluid. Doctor recommended it for me with my son who has asthma. And Dr. Wyatt Mom, liquid garlic, like you can buy in the gel pills, warm it up and drip in the infected ear, the garlic kills the bacteria that causes the ear infection and the warm eases the pain from the inflammation

The garlic idea is great - I'll try it if she's not better tomorrow. I used hydrogen peroxide and gave her motrin and she says it's feeling better. But we'll see. Thanks Phoenix!!
