Topic: Is the amount of love felt for another controllable?

Do you find yourself loving someone more than they love you? Is that a bad thing to do for you or your partner? Can you control the amount of love felt to another?

I don't beleive love is a feeling....it is an action...and you can control your actions...lust is a feeling though.

you can't put something like that in control..it's not a dimmer switch..either it'on or it's off

I don't beleive love is a feeling....it is an action...and you can control your actions...lust is a feeling though. Good point! I completely agree! And if someone doesn't love you as much as you love them then move on. Its hard to do but there is always someone that will love you exactly as you love them!

If you have to control how they feel then no its not equal love. I used to feel I was responsible for the men in my life and I guess in essence doing everything they wanted for them to love me...That sure as heck didnt work so I finally figured out I cant do everything for everyone. Either they love ME and I love them or keep moving because I have to love me first.
