i was just curious to ask if anyone ever feels the need to do a background check on someone? you never know who could be a killer or what not. chime in with opinions. I heard that inmates in jails have computers and therefore they have access to the Internet . This might be a concern .

You don't get all the info you need. Who care's about home's they have bought or sold. I say, get a private investigator to do a thorough job. One that watch's them for week's. Let them do the back ground check's.

I've never really felt the "need." I've just done them because I'm curious. Turns out not all the information on some of these background check sites is true. One had this guy listed as married and I've since found out, he was never married. Caused a lot of trouble for us in the beginning.

It's because of the thing that I married that I found out that back ground check's don't show much. I'm not some nut job. The guy I'm seeing now........I met here! We talked and chatted for 2 wk.'s before he came to my place for a home cooked meal. The one before, i met on another site. I saw his pic., we basically said hi to each other and,, I said "come pick me up. let's shoot some pool. He live's very close, we're trying to be friend's. I do care about him still, just not the same way.
