Here is something that would give you a brain fart lol.
Three friends were staying at a hotel and decided to buy pizza, which was $30. Each friend paid $10 evenly. So when the bellboy went to the chef, the chef said that there was a mistake in the bill, because the pizza was actually $25. So as the bellboy was walking to the 3 friend’s room he thought to him self and decided that since you cant split 5 dollars evenly among 3 people, he would take $2 as tip and gave each friend $1 back. So….. If 9 x 3 = 27 plus 2 is $29.00 what happened to the last dollar?

Each friend initially paid $10. But the pizza was only $25 total,
meaning that each friend should have paid $8.33. This means each one overpaid by $1.67. The bellboy gives each one $1 back, meaning each friend has still paid $0.67 more than the actual cost of the pizza. The $0.67 x 3 comes to $2.00 which is the amount of the tip. So there is no last dollar. |

See, the deceptive thing is the 9 x 3, because there never really is a
  9. There's a $9.33 for each ($8.33 for the pizza + $1.00 back) friend prior to the bellboy taking the tip, but if you fall for the 9, you'll never get the numbers to match up. |
