It's ok

Water, even sewer water, seeks its own level. We find people in our lives at our own level of health, or lack thereof. As we get healthier, we become less tolerant of people who are where we were before, especially in a romantic setting. Sometimes, we cling to the delusion that we are better than that, but in reality, we're comfortable in our own pile of ****. All I know is this time, I get to keep the house, lose the wife and 2 dogs and have room here to live the way I want to live, including the soon to be freshly painted white picket fence. The only thing missing is the 2.2 kids and future ex-wife #3.
