Has anyone ever heard of a process where your body is frozen and remains in some sort of suspended animation? The body is kept until such time that science has discovered a means of reversing the cause of death. I think the late baseball player, Ted Williams, had this done. But only his head was preserved. (Guess he did quit while he was ahead.) Anyone know anything about this? Would you do it?

Absolutely not...I want to go when it's my time and look forward to being reunited with my loved ones again.

If it worked and my thoughts and memories could be plucked from my grey matter I'd go for it.

The idea of time travel fascinates me - more into the past though. I think I was born about a 100 years too late.

Do I want to be frozen and defrosted later? Nope.
Everyone I know and love would be 'gone', what would be the benefit?? Just my opinion.

They did a show on this on NPR awhile back. You can search their site and find it I am sure. They spoke with the founder of the first "Society" for this. The story was bizarre, funny, and sad, all at the same time.
