hahahaha - what is confusion really? not understanding something clearly? inability to decipher? not "getting it" ?? - or or the 52nd state of the union - "state of confusion" ?? if its the latter where is it located??laugh

methinks you like to toy with my confusion sir! there exists in my brain a state of confusion the the matter of time aforementioned, about whether or not time is a wasted commodity among us mere mortals...

Time is simply an organizational tool for dating.

An example of it's useful application...

"Meet me at the restaurant at 7:30 tonight" for example, is more likely to actually happen, than, "Meet me at the pond whenever."

Note that the destination is now a pond, as no one at the restaurant is likely to show up for work.

In terms of wasting time, I would have to say, yes, time can be wasted when you're waiting at a pond for many moons for a date who has no concept of when you might be at said pond. Sounds pretty wasteful to me.

4 a: to spend or use carelessly : squander <waste valuable resources> b: to allow to be used inefficiently or become dissipated <a writer wasting her talent>

would your statement above definition be a real waste of time, if you had nothing to do anyway? is the term wasted time not meaning it's concidered a waste because you could have been doing something not wasteful? if your guy shows up and your not there is he wasted his time
also? would you feel it was not a waste of time if he did show up? is not then waste relative only to those who believe it is or has been a waste? or am i now wasting my time??
That is very true...waste is extremely relative, and I suppose it would only be considered a waste if I considered it so; having, in my own mind, a more efficient use of it at the time. Or, I could chose to decide that a day or two by the pond is more important than anything else...date, or no date. happy

As far as considering my time wasted if my date doesn't show? Honestly, nine out of ten, it's wasted even if he does.

That was Zen,
This is Tao.

Show me yesterday? Can you pull a piece of it out of your pocket?
Show me tomorrow? Write down your plans and see what happens.

There is only now.

And this is Chicago...
(((Michiganmean))) on drums!

Does anybody really know what time it is
Does anybody really care
If so I can't imagine why
We've all got time enough to die.
